Stretch Goal #1 is Funded!

So much achieved in so little time - and it's all thanks to you!
In just four days, we've:
- Been ranked#1 Fiction project in the world
- Been ranked #2 Publishing project in the world
- and selected as a "Project We Love" by Kickstarter.
I am blown away. We completely funded the $5300 goal for the Kickstarter in just over 24 hours, making the hardback dream a reality, and now also succeeded in funding Stretch Goal #1 by day 4 and will have a b&w illustration by renowned artist Ed Binkley! This is truly amazing. I still can't thank you all enough, but, THANK YOU AGAIN!
And STRETCH GOAL #2 is UNLOCKED! $8300.00
COLOR! If we meet this stretch goal, Ed Binkley's art will appear in the book in fully rendered color - AND - the hardbacks will be printed in color. That would mean not just the art, but chapter headings and other nifty embellishments as well, making the book an even more special collectors item.

Gang! Gang! I know I've been a pest with the updates, but the coolest stuff just keeps happening.
We are now officially a Project We Love on Kickstarter! It's something everyone hope for, but KS is pretty picky about who they choose. This means great visibility and discoverability.
And I say 'we' because it never could have been possible without your incredibly generous and enthusiastic support. You all are the best backers ever!

I am absolutely over the moon. We've now completely funded the $5300 goal for the Kickstarter, and in just over 24 hours. The hardback dream is now a reality. This is amazing. I can't thank you all enough, but, THANK YOU!
And now Stretch Goal #1 is unlocked - for art to include in the hardback! I'm super excited about it, too. I've added the stretch goal info to the Kickstarter page, but here it is anyhow (can you tell I'm excited?!)
STRETCH GOAL #1 - UNLOCKED! $6800.00
ALL ABOUT THE ART - If we meet this stretch goal, we’ll have a black & white illustration by award winning artist Ed Binkley for the front matter of the Rise of Gods hardback. I am super excited about this. I’ve been a fan of Ed’s work for years, and if you haven’t seen his art before, I think you will be too. I mean, just look at it:

The illustration will be of a favorite character from the Paternus books, The Prathamaja Nandana, in Trueface. Beautiful, truly ancient and powerful, she is The First Daughter. In various places, times, and guises, she’s been known by many names, not the least of which being Kali, the Dark Mother.
