Update on War of Gods ARC paperbacks

Hi everyone! Unfortunately it's not much of an update. More of a non-update. I ordered the books on the 2nd of June, and they said it "could be up to three weeks." Now things have changed and the status is still "printing," which it has been since a couple of days after the order. Ingram Spark also has these pop-ups everywhere on their site now:
So, Lord knows when we'll get them. Very sorry again for this delay.
In other and much more wonderful news, I'm extremely happy with the release of War of Gods on the 23rd. And the reviews have been amazing - many of which have come from those of you who got eARCs - Thank you!
I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything from Ingram Spark. The next communication I get from them should be the day they ship to me.

Paternus War of Gods Paperback ARC update

For anyone who back a level with the Paternus: War of Gods Paperback Advance Release copies or picked it up as an add-on
Hi folks - very sorry to report that IngramSpark, the printer for the paperback ARCs of Paternus: War of Gods, is saying they are still backed up due to COVID restrictions and have not even shipped the books yet. I had promised to get them out to you before the release, which is tomorrow, June 23, but it's not going to happen. In fact, I have no way of knowing when it will. It could possibly be two or three more weeks before I even get them in the mail to you.
Needless to say, at this point they are going to be more of a collectors item than a real ARC. If anyone would like a refund of the ARC price and any additional shipping that it may have cost, please send me a message or email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to oblige.
Again, very sorry for this, and I hope you all are well.

War of Gods ARC Paperbacks, and undelivered packages

Hello everyone! I hope you are all safe and well during these difficult times.
A couple of things:
1) Paperback ARCs: For those of you who pledged for the paperback advance release copy of War of Gods, book three of The Paternus Trilogy - they have been ordered from the printer! That's the good news. The not so good news is it could take up to 22 days for them be printed and shipped (and the book is being released on June 23). I'm very sorry about this, but covid and current events are having an effect on everyone and everything these days. I could very well get them sooner than that, we shall see. Whenever they come, I will pack and ship them right away.
If you pledged for these paperback ARCs, please double-check that I have your current address. If you suspect that I might not, please email me at [email protected] and I will update it on my list.
2) Packages not received: If you still have not received your pledge rewards in the post or heard anything for your postal service or customs, please contact me and we will figure something out.
Since my last update about this, a few people have received their packages, others have not. One package to the Netherlands was actually returned, marked that VAT wasn't paid. The only thing the backer and I could figure out was that it sat in customs for the requisite 30 days or so and was then sent back. The backer had received no notification, even though customs had his address, phone number and email address. We've marked this one down as a covid induced mistake due to staffing issues, or some such thing.
So anyway, those kinds of things might be happening with your package as well. Open communication is key, and I'd love to hear from you.

eARCs for Paternus: War of Gods have been sent!

Hello everyone, I'm happy to announce that the Advance Release Copy eBook bundles for Paternus: War of Gods have just been sent out to all who pledged for a level that included them!
They were sent via the digital downloads tool in BackerKit. I don't know how long it will take for your email notifications and link to download your files will take. If you don't see it within a few hours, please check your spam folders.
Please keep in mind that this is an "Uncorrected Proof," which means there are still some proofing corrections to be made as well as tweaks to prose. All of those will be addressed prior to the official release date of June 23.

Hi folks - thank you all for helping out with this.
So far it looks like 10 backers still haven't received their packages, all of which were sent on approximately March 26. The breakdown is as follows - Netherlands: 4, Denmark: 2, Sweden: 1, Norway: 1, and 1 each for UK and NZ. I'm also hearing that backers are still receiving books this week. Considering the number of shipments made and the COVID madness, I suppose that percentage is not all that bad, but it still makes me feel terrible for these backers.
I've spoken to a couple of other US based specialty booksellers and they are having the same issue, though they do say that the packages are eventually arriving. What I'm hearing is being done is they are asking customers to wait 90 days, which would be June 26 in our case, then to contact the seller and let them know if you still haven't received the books. Then they work something out right away. How does that sound to you all?
eARCs: On a more positive note, all of you with an eARC in your pledge are only a week away from receiving your Advance Release Copy eBook bundles for Paternus: War of Gods! The files will be loaded into BackerKit for electronic delivery on Saturday, May 23 (one month before the release date of June 23).
This book is a beast, too, at 237,000 words. Book 1 was 136K, Book 2 was 155k. The initial response from beta readers and editors has been extremely positive (phew!), so I hope you like it.
Just as a heads up, this will be an "Uncorrected Proof," which means there may still be some proofing corrections to be made as well as minor tweaks to prose. This is a common practice with traditional publishers, but I'm doing it mostly to cover my butt in case it still has typos or I decide to reword a few sentences. Otherwise, it is definitely the final book.
